“What you see here is something rather special.
As One was composed by Jenni Watson in February 2026 and received its Czech premiere at our All About That Sax mega-concert on May 23, 2026.
The performance took place at the Conservatory České Budějovice, CZ, featuring a combined saxophone ensemble of music school students, conservatory students, and teachers.
The remarkable part? We had just 30 minutes of rehearsal time for this piece earlier that afternoon.
A huge bravo to all the saxophonists and their teachers for their outstanding preparation, focus, and musicianship.
Bringing a brand-new work to life with such confidence and energy on such a short timeline is no small feat. Thank you, Jenni, for writing this wonderful piece and congratulations to everyone involved on a truly memorable performance. 🎶👏
