Bottle It

Imperfect Pledge: A simple one this month - each day I'll fill a large glass bottle of tap water and store it in the fridge, especially during hot weather, rather than waiting for the tap to run cold each time anyone wants a drink.

The title could also be seen as a play on two common meanings of the phrase -

1) 'to bottle it', as in to shy away from something at the last minute (which ideally the performer shouldn't do in the more challenging or dramatic sections..!)

2) 'bottle it up', as in to hide emotional outbursts and instead keep contained, which may help in the shaping of the piece...

About the Imperfect Pledges series:

A 12 part monthly series (October 2025 - September 2026), making pledges to myself for that month to add or change a habit, to have a positive impact both on my lifestyle and on the wider environment in some way
