Paper Year is a short encore commissioned by Eugene & Lisa Ryoo (USA), and celebrates their first wedding anniversary, which traditionally is marked by the gift of paper.

The two parts have many moments of matching and blending with each other, and overall the piece has a sense of lightness, fun, and playfulness, as a reflection on my meeting with the charming couple!
